Travel Edge Network top advisors set sail in Europe while Trevello and Maritime welcomed new team members in this week’s round-up from the world of retail travel; and check out Swan Hellenic’s FAM incentive to Antarctica.

Travel Edge Network (TEN) recently hosted a select group of top advisors, their hosted guests, and team members on an AmaWaterways Rhine River cruise aboard the AmaMora through Switzerland, Germany, France, and the Netherlands.

The group is part of an elite category of 22 advisors recognized as the network’s top performers who achieved a variety of milestones ranging from earning the highest level of preferred partner sales to surpassing $250K in overall revenue.

Jolana Phillips Veinott and Cathy Redekopp

Cathy Redekopp joins Trevello as the new Professional Development Manager for Western Canada, wielding an impressive background in the retail leisure travel industry. With Alberta serving as her base of operations, Redekopp will spearhead professional growth initiatives throughout the region.

Also joining the company is Jolana Phillips-Veinott, who, with over two decades of experience in adult education, assumes the role of Learning Manager.

MARITIME TRAVEL

Maritime Travel has announced the appointment of retail travel industry veteran Kimberley Wood as Director of Branch Operations for Western Canada.

Wood will be responsible for Maritime Travel’s 22 leisure agencies in British Columbia and Alberta.

“Kimberley brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in directing the daily operations of agency teams, most recently at Transat Distribution Canada, and previously at American Express Travel,” says Carol Buchanan, President, Retail, Maritime Travel. “Western Canada is an important market for Maritime Travel, and we look forward to working with Kimberley as we continue to grow and prosper there.”
